01 · Plans and pricing
What it costs, and what you’re agreeing to.
What does it cost?
Two plans. SEO + Website is $297 a month: the website, hosting, Google Business Profile work, local SEO, and the entire Automation System underneath it. The Automation System on its own is $97 a month. Either way, that’s the whole price. No setup fees.
Which plan should I start with?
It depends on which problem is costing you more. If customers can’t find you on Google in the first place, start with SEO + Website. It’s the one that does the most, because it fixes being found and being responsive at the same time. If you already get plenty of calls and the trouble is that you can’t always pick up, Automation at $97 is the way in.
The $297 plan already contains the $97 plan, so there’s no bundle to work out and nothing gets bought twice. Starting on Automation and moving up later is fine too.
Are there setup fees?
No. You pay the monthly price and that’s it. No onboarding fee, no build fee, no surprise line items. On SEO + Website, the site build is part of the $297. It isn’t a separate project you pay for up front.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Both plans are month-to-month. You can cancel anytime, no penalty, no awkward phone call required. That’s on purpose: being easy to leave keeps the pressure where it belongs, on us.
What do I keep if I cancel?
Your Google Business Profile, its reviews, your phone number, and your domain are yours. Always. They transfer to you, full stop. The website is built and hosted as part of the plan, so it stays with us if you leave, and we’ll help you transition to whatever comes next. We don’t hold your business hostage.
Who owns the domain?
You do. If we register one for you, it goes in your business’s name and stays registered to you. It travels with you the same as your number, your reviews, and your Business Profile.
02 · Getting found on Google
The SEO and website side.
I already have a website. Do you replace it?
Usually, yes. The SEO + Website plan is a site built to rank: a page for each service, city pages only where you’ve genuinely done jobs, and a lead form wired straight to your phone so the automation texts the lead back the moment it lands. That is hard to bolt onto a template site we didn’t build. On the onboarding call we look at what you already have and tell you straight whether any of it is worth keeping.
One thing we need either way: who your domain is registered with, and who can log in. Without that we can’t verify the site with Google, and that holds up the whole build. “No domain yet” is a perfectly fine answer.
Do I need a Google Business Profile before we start?
No. If you don’t have one, we create it. If you have one that was never verified, we work through the verification. If it’s sitting in an old marketing company’s Google account, say so on the intake form. That’s exactly why we ask which account owns it.
Google runs its own verification process on its own schedule. We start it on day one and keep you posted on where it stands.
Can you guarantee I’ll rank first on Google?
No, and nobody can honestly promise it. Google decides what ranks, and it doesn’t take instructions from us. What we can do is the work that gives you a real shot: a site built around your actual services and the towns you actually work, a complete and verified Business Profile, your name, address and phone matching everywhere they appear online, and the technical side done properly.
Anyone selling you a guaranteed position is selling you something they don’t control. We don’t publish numbers we can’t stand behind, and a promised ranking is one of them.
Why is SEO a monthly plan instead of a one-time build?
Because the pieces stack. Reviews coming in from the automation make your profile stronger, regular photo updates keep it active, and the website gives Google real pages to rank. Every month builds on the last, and a site nobody has touched in a year quietly slides backwards.
Hosting and updates are in the price too: when your prices or services change, the site changes. Here’s how it compounds.
03 · Texting, and the rules around it
Business texting has rules. We handle them.
Do I get a new phone number, or does it use mine?
It runs on the number you already give out. Customers see the business number they know, and the text-backs come from it. And if a separate business number ever gets set up as part of your service, it’s portable and it’s yours.
Why do you need my EIN?
Phone carriers require every business that texts its customers to register and prove it’s a real business. That’s what A2P registration is. If you’re an LLC or a corporation, your EIN is how the carriers confirm you exist, and the registration won’t go through without it. If you’re a sole proprietor and don’t have one, that’s fine: there’s a separate registration track that doesn’t need an EIN.
We handle the paperwork either way. Two things worth knowing up front: a brand-new EIN can fail carrier checks, so tell us if yours was just issued, and carriers reject free Gmail or Yahoo addresses on EIN-based registrations. If that’s the only email you have, we’ll set one up on your own domain with you before we submit.
Is it legal to text my customers?
Yes, done right. And we do it right. Your number gets registered with the carriers (A2P), messages follow the rules, and every text your customers get is one they’d expect: a reply to their call, a follow-up on their job, a review request. This isn’t blast marketing.
Will texts go out at night?
No. Texts only go out between 8am and 8pm. Nobody gets woken up by your business, and you stay on the right side of the rules.
What if a customer doesn’t want texts?
They reply STOP and they’re out: automatically, immediately, every time. Opt-outs are honored without you lifting a finger. It’s the law, and it’s also just how you treat people.
04 · Reviews, tools, and getting started
The practical questions.
How do you ask customers for reviews?
Once a job is marked finished, your customer gets one text: how did we do? It carries a direct link to your Google page, and it also asks them to reply right there if something wasn’t right, so a problem comes to you instead of to the internet.
Every customer gets the same message. We don’t screen for the happy ones first, and we don’t hold the Google link back from anyone based on how they rate you. That kind of filtering isn’t allowed by Google, the FTC has rules about it, and it’s one of the things we don’t bend on. If a bad review does land, you get an alert straight away so you can respond while it still matters.
The one thing we need from you is a signal that the job is done: one tap in the app we set up, or a hook into Jobber or Housecall Pro if that’s what you already use. No signal, no review request.
What if I already use another CRM or booking app?
Tell us on the intake form. There’s a question for exactly that. If you run jobs through Jobber or Housecall Pro, we can take the “job finished” signal from there rather than adding another app to your day. Where something we do overlaps with a tool you’re already paying for, we’ll point it out instead of quietly running two systems side by side.
What do you need from me to get started?
One sitting. We fill out the setup form together on a call instead of mailing you a homework packet: your services, your prices, the towns you actually work, the business details for the texting registration, and who controls your domain and your Google profile. On SEO + Website, photos of your real work as well.
That’s the heavy part, and it’s largely behind you once the call is over. You can start the form whenever you like. There’s no payment at that point. It just tells us what to build.
Who will I actually be dealing with?
Three people in Topanga, California. There’s no account manager, no ticket queue, and nobody between you and the person who built your system. When something breaks or you want something changed, you text or email one of us, and one of us answers. Here’s the team.
When will everything be live?
We start everything on day one. Some pieces run on other people’s clocks: carriers approve your texting registration, and Google verifies your Business Profile. We don’t control those timelines and won’t pretend we do. Everything on our end starts right away, and you’ll know where each piece stands.
